1. How We Help
The Olive Branch of Hope helps E.A.S.E the lives of those affected by cancer.
E- Educate
The Olive Branch of Hope (TOBOH) provides resources and programs to increase awareness on cancer and its impact on those affected by it.
A- Advocate
TOBOH actively advocates on the behalf of those who feel voiceless in their communities. We encourage open dialogue and challenge policy makers to improve research methods and health care policies.
S- Support
Our support group sessions, seminars and workshops provide a friendly and safe environment for individuals to share their experiences, build a support system, and learn healing and coping strategies during and after a cancer diagnosis.
E- Empower
TOBOH provides individuals with the tools needed to be confident in making decisions that are right for them and their families, giving them hope for the future.
The Olive Branch of Hope creates an environment for individuals to draw on the strengths of each other, overcome the fears and the anxieties associated with cancer, and to ultimately live vitally as an active community member.
2.Support Groups
The Circle of Friends support group sessions allow women the freedom to discuss the disease in a caring, judgment-free environment with women just like themselves.
Our meetings are informative, uplifting and inspiring. Bring a friend or loved one!
For your convenience, we have meetings every first Tuesday of each month.
All meetings are virtual.
3.Educational Seminars
We also host an annual Think Beyond “Love Pink” symposium open to all community members. Speakers are solicited from Health Care facilities or local hospitals on various topics related to women’s health not just cancer.
4.Faith Based Support
For many women of colour spirituality has been a place of coping, comfort, and empowerment.

5. TOBOH AMBASSADORS
We invite all women on the cancer journey to connect with our community Ambassadors who are all survivors. These women are all volunteers who are dedicated to helping you find your way through the maze we call the cancer journey which is often very confusing.
Our Ambassadors understand the complexities of the experience and will guide you on your specific journey. They also take turns at facilitating our monthly support group meetings held every first Tuesday of each month. These meetings give you an opportunity to connect with other women on the journey.
